why i did this
this was just meant to be a (very) quick project so that I could wrap my head around the basics of JavaScript. I'm very familiar with other languages such as Python, and I know that it JavaScript works on similar concepts, so I mostly just needed to get my head around the syntax. However, making this whole website has made me learn many things already. Honestly, I want to make a log of the things I've learnt, both for myself and for others to learn from my (many) mistakes. So potential blog series??? We shall see...
